The signing of the agreement between the General Authority of Medical Devices and the Joint Chamber of Commerce in Iran and Switzerland

The Minister advisor and General Director of the Ministry of Health and Medical Devices announced a joint meeting of the General Authority of Medical Devices at the Ministry of Health and the Director of the Joint Chamber of Commerce in Iran and Switzerland and said: “ The forum signed a memorandum of cooperation on how the field of medical Devices will be dealt with in the coming months and on the basis of this agreement It was decided training workshops for suppliers, exporters and producers of medical equipment to be made and based on these workshops, how to finance and transfer remittances under the conditions of the European Union.”

According to Webda, Following a joint meeting attended by the chairman of the Swiss Chamber of Commerce and representatives of unions and associations of Medical Devices, Dr. Reza Masaeli said: “ The meeting will be discussed in cooperation with the Joint Chamber of Commerce in Iran and Switzerland on the transfer of remittances abroad, processes and problems of exporting medical Devices and remittances into the country as well as the experiences of medicine in the form of questions and answers.”

According to the report, Simon Tiberius Fundel chairman of the Swiss Chamber of Commerce and Iran, explained the EU financial channel in the field of Medical Devices and said: “We are committed to work with Iran on the financial transfer and finding ways and channels of financial transfer and this is the third time we have been invited to Iran. As you know, swift debate and its rules which is related to importing and exporting products are changing on a daily basis, and these are the problems we deal with. Swift's issues also brought problems to some European Medical Devices companies that have made economic cooperation with Iran.”

In fact, the Chamber of Commerce is building a block system in order to facilitate financial transfer between the two countries with ease, he added.

The president of the Chamber of Commerce of Switzerland and Iran stated: "Given that we foresee the occurrence of a financial crisis over the next two years, so, in case of this crisis with the block system technology, we will not have any problems or complications regarding the financial transfer.
It is a technology that requires training. In fact, it is a financial transfer system, in the form of a company or a person and the system is operating in the European Union and is being implemented.
It is also the benefit of the system that lifts the financial transfer problems so that it can be carried out with greater ease and guarantees financial transfer documents.”

Director General of the Health Ministry Medical Devices in another part of his speech and in the dialogue with Webda made it clear:
Medical Devices and health based products are not included in the inclusion of sanctions, and the Ministry of Health has also devised many programs so that it can manage the management of sanctions, transfer remittances and the process of exporting medical equipment and transfer remittances from exporters to the country.

He pointed to the meeting: "Today, a good meeting was held with the heads of the Iranian - Swiss Chamber of Commerce and in which way we followed the transfer of remittances, the way the financial interactions of Iran and the European Union and specifically the Swiss state.”

Dr. Reza Masaeli also said: "We hope that by holding such meetings, the transfer of the remittances and the supply of basic materials and spare parts in the sanctions situation will not face a problem, keeping track of this and keep track of the initial supply process, Medical Devices and medicine.”

The General Director of Medical Devices of the Ministry of Health regards the signing of a joint agreement between the General Authority of Medical devices and the Joint Chamber of Commerce in Iran and Switzerland also said: "The meeting also signed a cooperation agreement explaining how the field of Medical Devices will be dealt with in the coming months.
It also stipulated that training workshops be held for suppliers, exporters and producers of Medical devices to be carried out on the basis of these workshops, how to finance and transfer remittances under the conditions of the European Union.
